Aikido For Kids

Aikido is a marital art that is suitable for adults and kids of all ages.

As well as being a lot of fun, training in Aikido improves balance, concentration and coordination. It is great for fitness and doesn't rely on size, strength or speed.

Aikido training is non-aggressive and cooperative. Aikido teaches the principles of safety and respect for yourself and other people along with self-defence and self-discipline.

As a result of many requests, the Rimutaka Aikido Club is reintroducing our Aiki-kids class.

Children from 6 to 12 are welcome to come along. Beginners of all ages and parents are also welcome to train at the kids' class or any of our other classes.

Aiki-kids is held on Wednesdays from 6.45 pm to 8.15 pm at our dojo above the boxing club in Maidstone Park.

Class fees for children are $50 per quarter, with a discount for more than one child from the same family.
